From a student room to a complete hosting provider
In 2013 Joost was running a Minecraft server from Wouter's student room. Friends soon asked if we could host things for them too. There was still room on the server and we were convinced hosting could be done better. We built a website, came up with a catchy name and CheeseHosting was born.
That student room has long since been traded for the BIT datacenter in Ede. The offering grew along the way: game servers, VPS hosting, web hosting and domains. All under one roof, on our own hardware. What hasn't changed: we still do everything ourselves, choose quality, and you get support from real engineers.
